That's me in the middle, 90 pounds ago. On my left is my youngest sister Maribella and on my right is my mother.

Losing weight was a a struggle for me. I had been overweight my entire life, I was starting to think losing weight wasn't for me, that I would be overweight my entire life.

That is until a few things happened to me.

I had been attending community college at the time and my class was on the third floor so I had to take the stairs. I was out of breath as soon as I got in the door.

Around that same time, I had gone shopping for dress shirts. I went to one of my favorite stores in the mall and much to my unfortunate surprise, the largest size shirt fit me too tight.

Someone in their 20s should not get exhausted after going up a flight of stairs and should not have to wear clothes that are excessively large just to feel comfortable. I knew something had to change.

So I did. I stopped drinking soda, eating fast food, eating before sleeping. I started counting calories, cutting back on sugar, cooking my own meals.

Notice the lack of the words "diet" and "excercise".

I ate pretty much whatever I wanted, but in moderation.

This is what I look like now:

I know what you're thinking as you're reading this: "Why is this guy telling me all this?". The reason is that I know what it is like to overcome difficulties. Alot of people didn't have faith in me. I pushed myself because I knew that I'm the only one I have to answer to.

The way I see it, owning a home is alot like losing weight, it can be a struggle at first but the net result is worth the effort. The good news is that my job is to take as much struggle out of the equation as possible. Let me guide you through the complexities of obtaining a home loan, eliminating the hassle and the stress. I look forward to working with you.
